You will be a member of a crack team, developing new features, incorporating new technologies and bringing tape.tv to new audiences on an array of devices/platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Designing and developing innovative user interfaces
- Front-end interface development in Adobe Flash / ActionScript 3
- Implementing and developing of technical concepts in an agile development team
- Responsible for documentation, unit testing and quality control
Skills required
- Solid understanding of user behaviour and user experience best practice
- At least two years professional experience designing and developing user interfaces with Flash ActionScript 3
- Sound knowledge of object-oriented software development, Rich Internet Applications, XML communication
- Experience in popular video streaming methods, ideally with RTMP Flash Media Server
- Experience in agile development methodologies
- Good English skills, German is desirable
- Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal and time management skills.

- Any HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript knowledge and coding experience

Java Developer
Tape.tv is music television for the digital age and we are looking for positive, enthusiastic, energetic, creative software developers to help us to build on our success.
You will be a member of a crack team, developing new features, incorporating new technologies and bringing tape.tv to new audiences on an array of devices/platform from the traditional PC to SmartTVs.
You will need to have:
- A good university degree in computer science or a similar field
- Worked in a multi-developer environment
- Good object-orientated web development skills
- At least two years development experience in Java Enterprise environment
- Experience with agile development methodology, ideally Scrum
- Good relational database knowledge, ideally with MySQL experience.
In addition ideally you would:
- Use and understand features incorporated into the most recent versions of JAVA (such as annotations and generics).
- Be familiar with/have experience of the Spring Framework v3.0
- Have experience of Object Relational Mappers (such as Hibernate or JPA2)
- Experience of JavaServer Faces technology, ideally IceFaces 1.8.x
- Ability to develop and deploy TomCat web applications.
- Familiar with version control software, ideally SubVersion experience.
- Knowledge/Experience of Eclipse for project set-up and library management.
- Experience of working in a continuous integration environment using tools like Hudson, BuildMaster or Teamcity or other.
- Able to use Linux command line for basic operations.

The successful QA Analyst will have at least one year commercial testing experience within web environments and possess excellent communication skills.
You must have the experience of the following:
- Bug detection, isolation and regression testing
- Creating Test Plans and manual Test Scripts
- Executing Test Scripts and logging defects
- Automated testing
- Conducting acceptance testing, and testing code against acceptance tests.
It would also be advantageous if you are:
- Familiar with working in an Agile environment, as well as having knowledge of other development methodologies.
- Well-versed in interacting with developers and product owners.
- Have experience of Performance /Load testing and associated tools.

You will need to have:
- A good university degree in computer science or a similar field
- Worked in a hosting/data centre environment for at least 2 years
- Possess excellent LINUX knowledge and skills
- Have good working knowledge of Apache, Tomcat and MySQL
- Experience of content delivery networks
- Excellent networking skills inc. load balancing, DNS etc
- Experience of supporting large-scale web sites
In addition ideally you would:
- Experience of managing Amazon EC2 and other services
- Experience of virtualised environments (VMWare or others)

Visual Interface Designer (m/w)

Key responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring and driving a cohesive visual brand experience in all mediums (digital, print) across the organization
- Produce visual interface specifications in the form of wireframes/prototypes, style guides, assets, icons etc.
- Work in close collaboration with Product/UX Manager to create UI and CI library consisting of framework guidelines, branding guidelines, visual design patterns and style guides
- Participate in user research and modify design based on research where appropriate
Skills
- At least 3 years of experience in a related field
- Deep understanding of a broad range of design, code and presentation tools including multimedia creation with CS5 (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Adobe Flash, Action Script, and development of HTML, CSS.
- Proficient experience in designing across multiple end-platforms, including mobile, web, desktop, tablet and IPTV
- Proficient knowledge of concept development, layout composition, color theory, typography and basic drawing skills
- An entrepreneurial self-starter with a can-do orientation that identifies smart, creative and innovative methods to complete tasks and designs
- Thrive in a collaborate environment and has creative approach to problem solving
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment, provide rapid mockups and detailed specs
- Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
